Pope Leo XIII was the earliest-born person ever captured on film...

Born in 1810, Pope Leo XIII was elected to the papacy on February 20, 1878. In the year 1896, Pope Leo XIII was filmed by either W.K.L. Dickson or Vittorio Calcina in the Vatican gardens. Behind him you can see the legendary Swiss Guard standing at attention and saluting as Leo blesses the camera.

Very cool but I'm this day and age it's hard to tell what is real and isn't which is sad.

I am legit scared of the kids who will grow up in that world of conspiracy theories “validated” by evidence indistinguishable from reality.

I’ve seen so many old photos and videos (even if unedited) get called “AI”. Of course some are trolls but I’m sure some of them aren’t

One in particular dug their heels in HARD over something that came out in 2010.
The hill he chose to die on was “they had AI back then too” as if this hasn’t been a legitimate world changing revolution that kicked off just a few years ago.
What’s it’s going to be like to not have that grounding frame of reference in your formulative years? Your entire life being things you can’t really trust, with lots of instant gratification disingenuous clickbait posts to lead you astray from actually learning about it.
Recently I had a browser plugin try to actively intercept me reading an article by shoving in my face “would you like me to generate a summary of this?”
One in particular dug their heels in HARD over something that came out in 2010.
