They don’t have that 1 by their name like the dukies have the last 30+ years. They are similar to Florida I guess.

The program that Jim Calhoun built is amazing. This long after he has been gone you still kinda get that vibe.

But Michigan will slaughter them making bama UMs toughest opponent by far

Calhoun gave all the players Mercedes and lots of cash. He was the OG NIL bag man

Ray Allen had 2 on campus

Nope.

Michigan didn't exactly dog walk Bama. Michigan will beat UConn by 25.

Not really strange. Hire great coaches and give them the resources they need in order to be successful and good things will follow. Calhoun is a top ten all time coach. Hurley is headed in that direction.

Exactly, get players that get your system and your area regardless of how many starts by their name. UConn is famous for this, no pre/madonna’s on a Hurley team. All coachable and buy into a system.

Uconn would definitely dog walk bama. They will most likely dogwalk Michigan.

I actually had no idea that Michigan was that good of a basketball program historically. This is their 8th national title game appearance.

Pretty crazy that they are 8-0 in Final Four games.

But UCONN is also crazy good deep in the tourny. If they get past the Sweet 16, they win it all.

What is amazing is that only UCLA and Kentucky have more titles than them...and UConn are tied with UNC at six. If they somehow win, they will be 3rd all-time. It's hard to believe, but more titles than Duke, Indiana, Kansas, etc...

It is pretty crazy that Calhoun got it going in the first place if you've ever been to their campus. Storrs is in the middle of nowhere

There's enough money and care to make it work in today's college hoops
