It really exposes how disconnected that the NYT is from the real world.

Who the frick spends $40k/yr on an Ivy League education, anymore?
It is as wasteful as our government spending. No legitimate return on investment.

AI got it wrong - it's not just a substitution mistake of America for Atlantic, but the addition of "without America" means it wasn't just a brain fart, it had a deliberate contextual connection.

Think about this. How many nations are there in North America? (And are there any North American nations in Europe?)
Now ask yourself, how many nations are in NATO.
This is next level lack of critical thinking.

$40,000 per year? Try at least double that for an Ivy League school. Ridiculous. They mostly get A’s anyway so it’s more like an attendance degree.

New headlines.
Was the King George IV a medical breakthrough?
How James Arness was critical in instituting post-war Germany's "Marshall Plan".

A seasoned team of ivy League journalists and editors!
Nothing but the most elite can be selected to work for the Gray Lady!!!
ETa can't wait for their next smug article making fun of plumbers or electricians who actually have to understand numbers and materials to make anything that actually works
Muh ivy League education

Layers of fact checkers. Educations far beyond any of ours. The cream of the crop here in the United States.
We can only hope to be so intelligent as journalists from the NYT. Truly the elite.

Yea, my first thought was that the headline writer fricked over the author by making an error.
Then, after reading it, I realized the main writer screwed up and no one else caught it. It was the main point of the story.
