A-10 warthog reportedly went down near Strait of Hormuz, pilot had been rescued

A second Air Force combat plane, an A-10 Warthog, crashed in the Persian Gulf region, with the lone pilot reportedly rescued. This incident occurred near the Strait of Hormuz around the same time an F-15E was shot down over Iran.
In the F-15E incident, one crew member was saved, while search operations continue for the second airman.
Details regarding the A-10 crash are limited, including information on the circumstances of the incident.

It sounds like Russia or China may have smuggled some shoulder fired missiles in to Iran and our intelligence missed it somehow. I’m just speculating but if Iran has had this capability all along then why have they waited so long about using it.

But the unfortunate thing is these events are considered huge wins for the Iranians and may strengthen their resolve

I saw one with engine problems over Toledo Bend one afternoon. Black smoke was trailing from one of the engines. It was actually pretty cool.

So that's roughly 50 million dollars worth of equipment today....
But it's ok to put our grandchildren further into national debt for a regime change war in the Middle East because Trump did it this time....
