I just watched Trump's Speech and it was not targeted to anyone on this website

That speech did not target a single member on this website, or on X or in the Podcast World or anyone who is actually paying attention.
The entire speech was targeted to Normies who don't pay attention to the news like we all do. It was to target people who don't pay attention to politics but are hearing all kinds of shite from their friends and family about some war that is going to turn out to be another 20 year Iraq or Afghanistan war.
That's it. No need for everybody to get your panties in a wad. He did this all throughout the campaign as well. It'd a way that he can get his message out to the normies
Normies and people who do not pay attention to politics needed to hear that speech.... None of us needed to because we already know everything going on (unlike the normies who don't pay attention to politics)

That's all it was. There is no more news for him to tell us because they (Marco, JD Vance) have already told us everything.
Marcia, who wanted to watch her favorite show Big Brother or Survivor or Dancing with the Stars (or whatever the hell is on network tv these days in that time slot) has no idea of anything going on because she doesn't pay attention to politics - Well, she does now because he just interrupted her favorite show to deliver the messaging that us internet political junkie nerds already know.

What did we really learn here? The war is won? He's been saying it for like a week+ now.
It was unnecessary as shite and an attempt to quell financial fears and stabilize markets. Nothing will change.

So this speech was "for the normies" but he just kept declaring victory then describing what we've done and what we're gonna continue to do?
He's trying to quell the market/affordability issues he ran on.
I voted for him. Don't regret it. Wouldn't change my vote if you gave me the chance...but this whole operation was unnecessary and will 100% backfire on him. Hard.

We don’t know if it was unnecessary. I mean, the death to America people have been waging war on us for decades and had partnered with China. Perhaps it was now or never? And perhaps if supporters like you would give him the benefit of the doubt and give him a minute to do this, it would turn out well.
There’s this mad rush to declare this a catastrophe, as if Iran was a peaceful neutral country minding its own business. Stop listening to the sky screamers who oppose him on everything and trust the guy you voted for.

Why do you consider an attempt to quell financial fears and stabilize markets to be unnecessary? Isn't that what a leader is supposed to do? Stop panic that makes things worse?
We now have people complaining that Trump is trying to stabilize markets. That's amazing.
