Football was terrible, Basketball was terrible, and baseball struggling!!

Damn truth….I was at lsu during that time and those were the dark times of LSU football. They sold tickets in the west upper for $5 and it was still empty.

Tell me about it. I was in TGBFTL from 93-97. The last two years were fun, but those first two….you can’t get up and leave when you’re in the band. The Pigs Fly game at Bama was great, but I also got to watch every second of the UF 58-3 murder in Tiger Stadium and was at the Jamie Howard meltdown at Auburn. I think it rained at all but one home game Curley’s last year. I know it did Thanksgiving weekend, because I sat in it to watch that fool’s last game at War Memorial in Little Rock. Good times.
As much as that sucked, it does make you into a rather hardcore kind of fan and it really helps you to appreciate the good times.

In this sports year we got rid of that angry little bitch BK, we got Kiffin, the general is back, women’s basketball had an entertaining and exciting year despite the heartbreaking end, and never judge LSU baseball in Feb/March. Lighten up friend, there is a lot to celebrate.

I remember it well! Me and my buds had a rule against leaving early. The rain, empty stadium and losing most games was a damn drag. I have had season tickets since that time and I still refuse to leave early!

Baseball has looked much better lately, though at 20-10 / 5-5 we've got to consistently knock out our midweeks and win some weekend series.
