According to the Wall Street Journal, citing officials with knowledge on the matter, U.S. President Donald J. Trump has told aides that he is willing to conclude operations against Iran even if it means leaving the Strait of Hormuz in a deadlock. Per the report, the administration assesses that operations to forcibly reopen the strait will likely extend the conflict past the previously established 4-5 weeks and that reaching the goals of severely degrading Iranian conventional military capabilities may be the the route to go. Additionally, according to the report, other military options on the table, including ground operations, are not President Trump’s priorities right now.

This would be crazy but better than another forever war.

Marco Rubio specifically said that if you hear information outside of Trump himself, JD Vance or Marco about any of these events then it's not news, it's fake made up bullshite. In other words, there are no "officials" or "sources"

did Trump finally realize why he's the only President dumb enough to listen to Netanhayu's idea of attacking Iran
Netanhayu, Lindsey Graham and Levin played this guy.
Iran will fight to the last man and spike energy prices for years.
still waiting for the Iran people to rise up

He has no clue what he’s doing and our soldiers are getting killed for it. Vote Republican, everyone.

Not necessarily. We get almost no oil that comes through the strait. The UK with their 2 functional destroyers, the French, and the pitiful shite that is the German navy, China, etc., can all figure it out on their own. I do want to see how the "stop oil" crew intervenes,
I do get that it keeps global prices higher temporarily, but it's really not our problem the way everyone thinks it is.

Why we don’t get oil from there would tie up Russia and China

my local gas station was up to 3.79 this evening. Up from 3.59 yesterday. If gas goes up past $4, even hawgfaninc will be hopping off the train.

Look at the accumulation of assholes absolutely desperate to believe anything bad.

He really doesn’t have a plan and that’s pretty scary against an adversary that clearly has nothing to lose anymore.

Worried about the mid-terms and Republicans getting crushed, he knows if this happens he's toast.
Perhaps should've waited until after the mid-terms.
