Only Mazda's got a truck for just 57....95 (sakes alive)

Trucks like the 80s and 90s Toyota 4x4s and Nissan Hardbody trucks would sell like crazy now. And would be cost efficient. And would last.

Ohhh but no. Can't have that anymore. Daddy government gotta snuff that out.

First vehicle I ever owned was a Mazda B2300 standard. I loved that truck.

The first vehicle I owned was a 1994 Nissan Hardbody. Regular cab, green with tan stripes down the side and a sliding rear window.

I love how full carpeting was a perk.

It was in those days,.

Mazda was cheaper than Toyota and Nissan.

AC was like a $500 option.

I still have my hardbody.. bought it in 99..

I remember when I ETS’d out of Uncle Sam’s Army in ‘90, Turpin Pontiac in Alexandria had Isuzu 2nd pickups for $5,995, 4wd for $7,995. If you wanted A/C, $1,200 more, rear bumper $200, any color offered other than white $200. They were 4cyl/5sp compact trucks, but plenty for attending La Tech…
