1980s-1990s trucks were cool.
1998 Chevy S-10 pickup with a 4.3L V6 and 5 speed manual was a little speed demon for like $16,000.

Trucks like the 80s and 90s Toyota 4x4s and Nissan Hardbody trucks would sell like crazy now. And would be cost efficient. And would last.
Ohhh but no. Can't have that anymore. Daddy government gotta snuff that out.

First vehicle I ever owned was a Mazda B2300 standard. I loved that truck.

I'd love to get snuffed out of existence by Britney and her untimely text message in her 7,500 pound GMC Denali that she just haaaaaaaad to have for Jaxxxxsons baseball gear while driving a 1500lb truck from the 80s.

The first vehicle I owned was a 1994 Nissan Hardbody. Regular cab, green with tan stripes down the side and a sliding rear window.

Seriously considering it… probably going to sell the 2000 Wrangler first.
We got the Nissan from his grandad right before we got married. One family, two owners. We’re looking to replace my van soon and don’t need five vehicles in the yard.

They’re great little trucks.

First new vehicle I ever purchased was a 86 Mazada pickup. 5spd, AC.
Excellent vehicle, no bad habits.

It was in those days,.
Mazda was cheaper than Toyota and Nissan.
AC was like a $500 option.

I remember when I ETS’d out of Uncle Sam’s Army in ‘90, Turpin Pontiac in Alexandria had Isuzu 2nd pickups for $5,995, 4wd for $7,995. If you wanted A/C, $1,200 more, rear bumper $200, any color offered other than white $200. They were 4cyl/5sp compact trucks, but plenty for attending La Tech…
