Isn’t it a war crime if civilian targets are intentionally targeted to inflict harm on the general population?
ETA I say frick it and blow it all up and bring the regime to their knees but just wondered if it was technically considered a war crime.
ETAX2 Grok confirmed it would be.

Killing 40,000 unarmed civilians while protesting is a crime against all humanity.
Posted on 3/30/26 at 3:13 pm to sidewalkside
Yes, it would be considered a war crime.

Yall MAGA tards knee jerk react to everything. I’m not trying to level some moral equivalency I’m just asking if that would be considered a war crime by some fangless board who can’t do shite about it anyway.

No it’s not even close to consideration for war crimes

Probably not as bad as a war crime as killing and murdering 30-40,000 innocent iranian civilians

Dude, read the Rome Statute. According to the international bodies, just going to war is a war crime.
Guess everyone should just play paddycake now.

He is threatening to destroy all desalination plants and energy infrastructure
Attacking civilian infrastructure that is considered necessary for survival would be considered a war crime under legal frameworks in the Geneva conventions
Will he actually do it is the real question

It’s legitimately a gray area, Kharg is 90% civilian but has military stuff going on.
If we bombed military targets on site it would be kosher.
If we leveled the actual energy infrastructure & put civilians in the dark indefinitely, that probably wouldn’t be Geneva approved.
It’s a hypothetical anyway.

No one is claiming the Iranian regime is the benchmark for human rights
Destroying critical civilian infrastructure is still a war crime. The Iranian regime also being assholes doesn't change that.

Has it ever been considered one? Referring to energy infrastructure?
