So that would put us at 16-14 in SEC play to finish out the regular season.

I dont think 16-14 has us hosting a regional, but it feels like a 15-15 or 16-14 team

Jay has made it clear that they can’t afford any more midweek losses and you’ve seen the emphasis on that as of late.
Ole Miss and Tennessee were the #10 and #14 seeds in 2025 after going 16-14 in the SEC.
Auburn, due to a high RPI, was the #4 seed with a 17-13 SEC record.
This team has undoubtedly had some ugly play but nobody is going to want to have them in their Regional if they’re clicking the way we all know they can.

Yep, I could see us getting our shite together end of the year, but too late to host a regional and some regional host will be very pissed off they get LSU coming to town.

I think 16-14 def has LSU hosting a regional. If they can avoid any sweeps on the road series, then 15-15 is likely.

Maybe. If there’s a bunch of 15-15 teams right below us. But our terrible OOC SOS and our terrible RPI could easily come back to bite us if we’re tied at 16-14 with a bunch of teams and a handful above us.
This Tennessee series is going to be huge. Will we catch them down on themselves after getting swept by Vandy and losing Games 2 and 3 by heartbreaking fashion? Or are we gonna get their best shot when they’re back home in Knoxville? We’ll see.
