Opinions on Trufuel?
I just bought a new Toro Super Recycler and wanted to get opinions on switching to this fuel instead of regular gas.

2-stroke: absolutely! 4-stroke, whatever.

For as much as I would use at my house during the year, I could probably buy new equipment every year and come out ahead.
Use regular gas or gas 2 stroke mix. Drain or run it out in anything you don’t use that often. Do the same at the end of the season for ones you use regularly.

Ya that would change things a lot. I’d never buy anything but regular 4 stroke fuel. 2 stroke I hardly use at all so the balanced fuel gives me peace of mind and seems to be working better than leaving 87 octane and super tech mix in there for a year or more.

I use it in certain things, anything 2 stroke, and in my generators.
Everything else I use regular ol ethanol free.

Use ethanol free pump gas, add sta-bil, and save $$$.

Seems very overpriced and overrated.
For 2 stroke weed eater, chainsaw, etc. get a small 1-2 gallon gas can. Put 1 gallon of gas and one of those small 2stroke oil bottles. Make sure it’s the one that say for 1 gallon of gas. This lasts for months. I’ve never had a problem doing it this way.

Not great, Echo RedArmor or VP is better for 2-stroke stuff if you must use it. Canned stuff will always get you a little less power too.

I use it in 2 strokes.
left it in blower that didn't run for 2 years for lack of pull starter. When I fixed that, it started fine.
I admit, I don't need a ton of it so cost isn't that much of an issues and maintenance of small things like that is not my strong suit

Read the manual, there's probably a recommended fuel type.

I ran it in a couple of my 2 stroke small engines (weedeater, chainsaw) for a little while and ran like crap. Regular ole premixed ethanol free gas and they ran like champs. Gave up on Trufuel after that.

Ive been using non-ethanol with marine sta-bil without any problems.
