If someone tries to deny that Arabs took slaves because they have no descendants in Arab lands, be sure and let them know why that is.

Britain deserves more credit than you are giving it. They deployed the Royal Navy off the coasts of Africa and, at great expense, suppressed the slave trade.

One of the biggest slave traders in East Africa was a black man, called Tippu Tip. His estate is now a museum to him in Zanzibar. He also traded ivory and ran plantations and was the personal representative of the Sultan of the Omani Caliphate. He’s still revered as a great man.

So, you think Lincoln started the war because slavery was written in those articles?
He started the war because he didn't want to lose the power and wealth of the southern states. Lincoln's reason for the war, which is what you were responding to, had nothing to do with slavery.
Lincoln's reasons are not the South's reasons.
