If either Pickett or woodland go down, we are going to be in a world of hurt. I think finney would have to step up big time in that scenario.

Corey likes Jakheem Jackson a lot. Hopefully Mike Turner gains some weight too cause I heard is a great cover CB

It’s a fair concern imo. Replacing a guy like Delane isn’t easy

At safety.

But I’m betting you’re kidding.

Toosi can play corner too if WR is too crowded.

Havon Finney is a dude. Excited to see him.

Im going to trust corey and blake on this one. They never seemed to even try and get other corners in here. That tells me that Corey is satisfied with his room. That usually means good things

Man, you have no idea how refreshing it is to worry about who's the backup cornerback.

Seemed like Kelly's entire tenure, we'd be trying to figure out if we had any starters worth a shite.

Corner will be fine. We primarily play two corners with Spears/Delane being that Star. You know what you have in Woodland/Pickett (I expect both to have stellar years), and Jahkeem Jackson showed some things to like at the end of last year. I like his upside and Corey is a big fan.

Finney is a stud, and you just need one of Anding or the young guys to step up to provide depth.

Hey, LSU liked to tout itself as DBU. Long history of producing NFL corners, and going back to Saban's days we seemed to have someone every year.

2022- both starters from the portal. Bernard-Converse and Garner.
2023- top 3 from the portal; Alexander, Chestnut, Harris. Stamps and Toviano both played as freshmen but didn't show out.
2024-Alexander returned, Chestnut and Harris left. Stamps started but didn't impress. Woodland came in as freshman.
2025- Delane, yet another portal guy. Stamps disappeared. Woodland improved, Pickett played a lot as a freshman.

This is the first time we're starting 2 guys we recruited (not portal), who played for us the year before, since before Kelly came.

LSU shouldn't need the portal for corner, we should have guys recruited who can step in and play.

My biggest football concern is Offensive Line STARTERS (Outside of Moore and Seaton) and DEPTH.

Overall, the OL alent isn't that much better than it has been.

Of course, we should see significantly improved OL Coaching from Wolford and Cregg.

I'm so glad (Who isn't) that DAVIS, Kelly and that entire dysfunctional Offensive Staff are fricking gone)

Woodward too.

As long as Raymond is coaching corners, we will be ok.

with a competent offense, this will be less of a concern.
