Every team had more bigs than LSU. No reason not to have at least 3

Bigs that can play not just take up space.

Even if just one is legit it can make such a difference.

I'm sure she is aware and will be making the right additions. She's two damn competitive.

With a decent big, Dike doesn't get that last possession. LSU should have gotten that last rebound.

Koval will be better; she has shown flashes. Kim will tell her to work on possession skills, which was an issue for her this season. But she had a lot of blocks and was decent under the basket. Better hands, and she would have had a bit more playing time.

If Koval stays I agree she will be better next year. Grace Knox will be better as well. They need an offensive threat with size though. If they can find a 6’4+ who can score 15 or more consistently against SEC teams they can be special next year. We will be loaded at 1-3.

With enough minutes and slightly elevated play, both can give you that, I think.

All of Mulkey's successful teams at Baylor and LSU have had big that can play! Better get a couple out of the portal, or next season might be rough. All these teams still in the tourney have capable bigs!

How many quality bigs are going to hit the portal ? And by bigs I mean at least 6’4.

We really missed having Smith this year. She was a more athletic big and would have been a good option to have.

We could live without an aircraft carrier five if we had a scoring-rebounding machine at four like Angel Reese or Aneesah Morrow.

Fulwiley transferred because South Carolina had a glut at guard. Man, I wish we could nab a UCLA or UConn big. They have plenty to spare.

at least 6’4.
Agree, Koval will be better next year but another tall player that is established will be needed. Even someone such as Clara Strack would elevate this team.

However, a space eater in Audi Crooks even tho 6' 3 is my dream addition.

Koval needs to work on her hands and some post moves but I think the ability is there .
I don’t see Strack leaving Brooks and Crooks is definitely a space eater but her mobility on defense is a question mark

She followed Kenny Brooks from VT to Kentucky. I doubt she transfers out again. But in these crazy times, who knows?

Yeah, her defense is a weakness and we need a defensive stopper down low.

No shite, she was a 1st team all-sec center but she's not going anywhere.

Audi doesn't rebound and is awful on defense. She'd be a terrible addition. She's a fun player but she has to be the focal point of the offense and surrounded by four 3 and D players for her team to win anything.
