Ohio State doubling down on leftist hiring

The Ohio State University is currently seeking a professor of “Philosophy of Race,” an area of expertise that includes “the epistemological significance of race or racism” and “race in the philosophy of science.” Its Department of Physics seeks a professor whose main focus is “issues relevant to educational equity.” And its Department of Anthropology recently sought an archaeologist whose work emphasizes “decolonization, feminist theory, queer theory, critical race theory, and/or Indigenous ontologies.”
These roles reflect a trend across the country, whereby faculty job listings increasingly demand a specialization in such topics as social justice, critical race theory, and intersectionality. Remarkably, Ohio State might be the worst offender in the nation—surpassing even such progressive bastions as the University of California, Berkeley. To add to the university’s 132 diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) officers, a striking number of the new faculty job listings at Ohio State read like calls to progressive activism.

This is where a quality governor and legislature could step in and clean this out like we’ve seen in FL.
First they removed the president and UF attempted to rehire a prog DEI guy from Michigan and was thwarted.
Then they had to clean out the board of regents and pass rules related to DEI class content and they tried to rebrand and sneak it back in.
The professors and administrators are next because until they’re removed they’re just inevitably going to attempt to subvert the rules and push their agenda because it’s who they are.
But the fact that many red states haven’t even really tried this tells me at best their politicians don’t care and at worst they’re actually onboard with DEI/globalism and don’t want it fixed.

Talk is cheap. Society either becomes more or less civilized and prosperous accordingly in regard to policy. The proof will always be in the pudding no matter how the Academia ‘wordsmiths’ spin it, and us.
I would watch a totally uncensored and highly publicized Debate with the very best of both sides arguing their differences with facts and philosophical reasoning. I remember when Alan Keyes (Religious) and Alan Dershowitz (Secularist) did a C-Span debate on whether Religion should play a roll in Government. That was extraordinary and the very essence of what debate is and should be.
I won’t hold my breath waiting for such because I’m not sure the Left could defend their beliefs in today’s dynamic. Especially an uncensored version. Just like elections they would have to cheat.

Retard Epistemology: if you don’t belong to a particular institution, then you should not speak of it.

These are all communist inventions designed to spread discord.

I think James Watson tried to set out to discover race in the philosophy of science before the scientific community cancelled him.

Not surprised. “The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth “ is kryptonite to those who worship a/The Lie under a guise of altruism/Love.
It’s all in the Good Book. Amazingly so. Just like the miracle of Life.
It’s coming.

Philosophy of Race,” an area of expertise that includes “the epistemological significance of race or racism” and “race in the philosophy of science.”
Do any Philosophers of race conclude that at this point race is being used to sway retarded people’s views?
Or is every single philosopher of race position filled with what most of us are thinking?
Dems, y’all are absolutely fricking things to hell. Why do y’all do this type of shite?
ETA: Meaning, are any philosophers of race allowed to come to their own conclusions and then teach it?
Is literally every philosopher of race pushing nearly the same thing? And if they are, surely everyone has to think that’s a serious problem, no?

In other words, they need someone who will teach that whitey is evil.

It's a public institution that benefits from state and federal funding, not a coffee shop with a rainbow flag.
Did you think this was an intelligent response?

It’s a public school perpetuating a myth that no longer exist… unless they’re gonna study how whites rights are violated it is purely political with no educational value whatsoever.

No this deserves to be called out and punished. A public institution (or any institution for that matter) that receives tax dollars should never be allowed to do this.
