Joining war, Yemen’s Houthis launch ballistic missile attack on southern Israel

The Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen have decided to officially join the ongoing war on the side of Iran, with sirens currently sounding across Southern Israel due to the launch of a ballistic missile from Yemen.

Is this Houthis joining the war of their own volition or Iran getting desperate and calling in everyone?

^ Genuine question, I don’t really know here.

Both?

This can end up being huge if they can shut things down at Bab al-Mandab and force shipping around Africa.

We were having issues securing the Red Sea before this war broke out. If they threaten shipping then this whole crisis starts to compound.

Has all the classic Iranian proxy signs. Distract, pester etc.

I hope they are about to get all the attention they so richly deserve.

It breaks the Europe to Asia connection.

Suddenly Venezuela Oil becomes a godsend.
Asian prices go through the roof, Europe inflates like crazy.

USA is on the opposite end of the world...
Perfect spot.

I agree 1000%

I’m on a World Cruise and the itinerary has been changed due to these MFers.

Yahtzee

There is nowhere we can't reach in Yemen with our gunships and we've been hoping for a reason to take those goat humpers out since Trump's first term when he bitch slapped them down.

Reminds me of a fake newspaper National Lampoon put out 50 years ago. One headline said, “Japan completely destroyed by earthquake”. Underneath it said, “Vacation plans of Iowa couple ruined”.

Enjoy your cruise. That sounds great.

You say losing but at best it was just SA just swatting the mosquitos when needed. Iran being SA nemesis is backing the Houthis but that pipeline of toys has been disrupted, as is Hamas
