He is a figurehead and nothing more. The can’t fire him because he is politically connected and knows where the bodies are burried. No other person could have survived the abuse cover ups.

Trust me, Verge was not very involved in this. He's gonna make the statements and he's gonna take the pictures, but he is extremely leary of this. It's way over his head.
