Government money comes from confiscating it from taxpayers. If the govt keeps raising taxes thinking "there's always more money," they'll discourage economic activity and can actually drive people from the state (see the exodus from NY to FL). And they can't just keep raising taxes on the theory that "there's always more money" - see the Laffer Curve.

Besides, isn't the LSU buyout money paid by private donors? Massive difference from Seth's idiotic thoughts.
