I have to imagine with both Wade and Mulkey at the helm, it’s on the horizon. LSU needs a new arena. Even if Mulkey retires soon, she has elevated the Women’s program drastically that LSU should be able to take the momentum past Mulkey. If Wade starts winning again (he will) I have to imagine better facilities, and a new arena are coming.

Agreed, but not sure it will happen in todays NIL climate. Most money is being funneled towards players and coaches.
Personally, I think they could get away with a renovation inside PMAC for much cheaper than proposed new event center at golf course.

Heath Schroyer did a lot of upgrades at McNeese and was there when they built their new arena so maybe

Thought that was already in the works and was pretty much a done deal. Thought a new arena was going to be built somewhere near the Ag center but I could be way off.

We are already in the planning stages of a new arena. It’ll be where the gold course is, that was just announced to be officially closing soon.

Last set of plans sent out for the new arena was back in August. They were preliminary. I would guess new plans would be released in the next couple of months if LSU is going forward with this.
