Cincinnati just hired one of the best basketball coach candidates from Utah State

Also Creighton’s longtime coach announced his retirement. The best candidate’s are going to be picked off quickly.

Creighton already named one of its assistants (High Point HC last year) as its HC. It was a pre-planned move.
The new Cincinnati HC is an alum everyone expected would get that job.

The one they had was pretty damn impressive in the tourney. He runs a very effective offense that generates good looks and really makes the defense work

HIs point is that Wade isn't the only coach out there. There are a number of coaches who could win here. I think a lot of folks (including me) think we're putting all of our eggs in one basket.

Greg was a great mid-major coach, awesome husband and father. He was not a high level D-1 coach as his time at Iowa State showed.
Liked the guy personally, also always grateful for Creighton “stealing” him away. Best thing that happened for Greg and Iowa State.
