UK Parliament poised to legalize non-supervised, at-home abortion up until birth

The whole thing is being framed as "de-criminalizing the woman's actions in obtaining legal abortions", but in reality, it's a bizarre carte blanche for the mother AT HOME to have the "right" to abort up until birth. They hide behind the fact that it's still a 24-week limit for medical professionals to participate.
Yes, you heard that right. All the "what about the mother's health" people just approved a late-stage pregnant woman's "right" to conduct an at-home abortion WITHOUT medical supervision!

I never used to care about abortions, but having a kid now, I am radicalized against it.
Its not just “her own” anything. IT IS ANOTHER frickING PERSON
The mom and the baby have different DNA. That means it’s a whole other entity, NOT THE MOM.

I got in an argument with someone who says that actual birth makes someone a human. I said that crossing a magic line isn’t a scientific foundation for life. Of course he was appalled that I said that conception, the creation of a unique genetic code, is a pretty clear scientific definition of life.

Even if you don’t go back to conception, babies are born “healthy” like halfway through when they should be.
That means the baby is not only capable of life, but is full of it WELL before the 9 month baking time on the side of the box.

Conception is the only logical line to define a new life. Every other point is arbitrary and falls apart under scrutiny.
