Thinking Konnor would be plugged in at 1B, maybe 3B. But the entire dynamics of the team changes.

Yea for sure the 19 year old who was drafted top 10 and is likely going to make the show in is age 20 season was going to move off his primary position for a dude who won’t sniff the big leagues

Yep, but Konnor being the 8th pick of Rd 1, LSU didn't't have an extra 8 million to compete with MLB.

Why not? I believe it was closer than most think before deciding to go pro.
Maybe CJJ flips Milam back to 2B.... or maybe he keeps Milam at SS for his final season with Konnor taking over next year.
I don't think the latter is far fetched....
But either way, this team is exponentially better if that one piece of the puzzle were here.

He would be a sophomore this year. Milam never plays SS if he makes it to campus. They are also on two completely different levels as players. One will be a career minor leaguer and the other will be a consistent All Star and potential league MVP.
