To me, "victory" means leaving with the Uranium.

Hard to paint leaving 400 lbs of 60% enriched uranium in Iran as anything but defeat.
That is 3 weeks away from weapons grade.
Not going to be easy getting it.
According to the article below, the best estimates are that Iran has more than 400 kilograms of 60 percent enriched uranium, much of it believed to be near Isfahan in a deeply buried underground complex.
An operation to locate amd remove it would take months and a fairly substantial ground force, not just a quick raid by special forces.

I agree. I do believe it will be retrieved soon.

Where exactly is it located? If it's in the underground storage areas that were targeted by Midnight Hammer is it accessible? One would assume those underground targets with their various tunnels were destroyed.

I would think as much as Mossad is embedded in Iran that Israel knows where it’s all at.

The story about how the US and allies worked together to retrieve buried uranium in Iran would make a great movie. I hope we actually do it.

Its under rubble. I has to be excavated out. The Iranians have already started.
Its heavily fortified. We have to take it. We have to hold it and stand by while crews dig it out and locate the stuff and handle it properly and ship it properly.
They did a study on Syria's Chem weapons and eatimated 80,000 troops and months would be involved.

At this point, leaving the regime in power would be a colossal loss with significant long-term ramifications.
I say this as someone who said the risk of the 12 Day War was that it would inevitably lead to a conflict between Israel and the current Iranian Regime.

I agree. This is victory. All the other short we blew up and/or Iranian people’s ability to rise up are added levels of victory.
Uranium gone and the ficilities to enrich more gone is a win
Especially if our offer to supply sources for power etc stands
These people told us they had it and they weren’t giving it up.
IMO we have an obligation to take it from them.

It's over 800 lbs. There are 2.2 lbs. in a kilogram.
Agree though. This is one country that can never have nukes or ballistic missiles.

What I really appreciate about this whole mess is Britain is out and is no longer the puppeteer. These religious mulluhs or "ayatollahs" are history. We will get along really well now, knowing the answer to the problem.
The answer: Use extreme force, at every level, and annihilate the problem. No more problem.

I'll run this up the chain to POTUS and let him know how important you are.

In their negotiating with witcoff, didn't iran offer to let the 60% enriched uranium be kept in the usa?

They offered to dilute it but insisted on keeping it for medical technology stuff. The US said absolutely not and that they wanted all of it. Iran refused that.

Every time you see one of those commercials showing our soldiers with arms, legs, and faces missing, remember that the bombs that did that came from Iran.
Iran has been at war with the US for almost fifty years. Eventually, it would turn into a shooting war, one way or another. Just like our politicians keep kicking the can down the road on so many or our problems, they have been kicking this one down the road, for someone else to deal with, sooner or later.
Troops on the ground are inevitable, sooner or later. I'd rather deal with it now, but it will never be over over there.
