If tweet fails to load, click here. 20+ years of practicing law I’ve never seen this.
I’ve seen lawyers farm out briefs to other lawyers on the side. But I’ve never seen anyone make up citations to non existent case law.

DEI breeds incompetence

Been quite a few of these stories ever since lawyers started using AI to write for them.

Not just lawyers, idiot former son I law who tried to use ai in custody battle and represented himself. Hilarious shite from the judge crucifying his use and not dollop to make sure cases were real or applicable to his situation.

She’ll probably be a superior court judge in a metro ATL county one day

You haven't heard of AI hallucinating cases? You practice law under a rock?

Taught at the same DEI program that gave us Biden's Press Secretary, KJP.

There have been many examples of this happening. I don’t see how a lawyer lets this happen either.

You’d think using AI that a competent attorney would at least google the rulings to verify?
Very lazy.

AI is insanely helpful, BUT you always have to challenge the information it gives you. You have to ask it directly what is your source for the information. If it can’t provide a direct source it will generally let you know it’s a summation vs fact.

When a DEI lawyer meets a judge who was actually required to earn his law degree.

She used AI so what happened was she didn’t double check if the citations accurate.
When I personally write fraudulent briefs for the Mafia, I always have it written in Grok then have ChatGPT proof read it and double check facts

Those files were as foreign to her as the Penske files were to George Costanza. That’s quite comical.

You can thank AI for that. Even judges have been busted using it to write their opinions.
