Carter Page wasn’t the only adviser from Trump’s first campaign wiretapped by the FBI. Walid Phares was electronically monitored for a 12-month period between 2017 and 2018, according to the Washington-based FBI agent who was assigned to investigate him as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia collusion probe.

As in Page’s case, the bureau withheld evidence exonerating Phares from the court to secure surveillance authorization, according to newly declassified FBI documents

quote:

Investigators could find “nothing” criminal on Phares during their probe, according to the lead case agent, and in fact, they concluded he was “honest.” Yet Mueller’s team continued to secretly spy on Phares – without providing the powerful federal spy court any of the exculpatory evidence that could clear Phares as required by law.

The agent told investigators in a separate 2020 internal FBI review that “there were no corroborating facts that tied Crosswind [the codename for Phares’ case] to certain facts that we thought were originally true,” according to a transcript of his testimony, released after more than five years of concealment.

He added that “nothing” collected from Phares’ communications under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants, including phone messages and emails, “aided the investigation other than to prove the target was being honest with investigators,” who had interviewed him repeatedly.

Nonetheless, the FBI continued monitoring Phares as part of a Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) investigation. He was never charged with any violations of the act.

Why isn't Mueller and his team being held accountable for this stuff?

Mueller is in worse shape than Biden.

But Andrew Weissmann needs to be hanged by the neck on the Capitol stairs. (After a quick and speedy trial of course)

Uhh, possibly statute of limitations? Or perhaps the people who actually know what they’re doing and talking about, the actual players/investigators/prosecutors involved are not necessarily convinced to this point that they have the required evidence or proof to move forward. Ya know, you can’t try a person for something and ask for a redo because you didn’t stop to realize that the actual necessary evidence for a conviction was in order. They sorta frown on that. Pretty much gotta get it right the first time.

FBI et al Security Institutions also had documented knowledge of China's direct interference in the '20 rigged election and did NOT even inform Congress. John Solomon on Bannon saying that this Evidence is out in the open now and will be dumped in Congress' laps very soon. Likely Ron Johnson will deliver it.

This will give Trump a serious National Security impetus to throw a bomb into the Midterm elections IF they are not verified against illegal voting and CCP (Machine) manipulation. He should say as much and turn up the heat on Congress to either fix it or own it when he blows it up.

It's going next level in November.

Personally, I would forego the trial. I’m done wasting time and letting any of these evil, degenerate people have a platform.

You have to access that much, much “deeper” than simply declaring something to be treason, in particular. Or really any accusation of a specific criminal act. First let’s get on the same page: I ain’t “knighting” for any such individuals, whatsoever, full stop on that.

That said, look up the actual definition of what constitutes “treason” as far as the elements of the crime that must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt by the government. There’s a tad more to it than you may be thinking. Thus, is the answer, or best course of action, quite as “simple” as you might believe it is?

Do any of the people illegally spied upon have civil recourse? If it were me and I could I'd sue Andrew Weissmann and all his Merry Men for anything he has or ever hoped to have in Federal Court

Since much of this is just now being discovered I'd think any statute of limitations clock shite could be successfully argued against.

You just went out of your way to take that statement of mine in a certain way, but fyi definitely not the way it was intended. Why you would want to do that, i.e. go out of your way to take offense to it, who the hell knows.

It sounds like they might yet be. Since Muller was obviously mentally diminished at the time of his appointment, the pressure-point would be shifted to the person actually leading the Mueller investigation. That would be none other than Andrew Weasel Weissmann.
