Interesting. Reconciliation and now this?

I’m still skeptical.

When Democrats are in the majority they are in power.

When Republicans are in the majority they are in office.

The Senate is pure swamp. If Kennedy thought Thune would bring it to the floor, he'd have never introduced it.

They're just playing games with the public for PR.

John Thune is dragging his nuts all over the Senate, and in turn, all over the Executive Branch and the GOP as a whole. You thought Trump was the man? shite... Thune is obviously the most powerful man in America.

People need to let GEOTUS know this so he can eventually fight back. I guess, if he cares enough.

Above the table salary represents less than 10% of their annual income.

This bill is nothing but show.

You didn't know when Thune was chosen Senate Majority Leader as McConnell's "protege," that it was for him to behave exactly this way and do exactly what he's doing now? And has been for months regarding no recess appointments, refusing to pass any of the Trump DOGE suggested spending reforms.

He's doing exactly what McConnell and the Senate GOPe/Uniparty/Deep State intended to do, which is obstruct Trump and the MAGA/America First agenda, and maintain the DC status quo... as much as possible.
