If Tulsi is forced out over Iran, is there a chance Vance resigns?

Spicy thread for sure, but who would have thought in summer 2025 that Tulsi was on the verge of being pushed our before Spring 2026?

It seems clear that Iran is a red line for the administration and the admin will react to any dissent. JD has become basically a non-entity in the admin while Rubio (huge neocon interventionist) has become the admin's clear #2.

Is Vance going to just remain a eunuch for 2.5 years? Would this completely sink any chances of a future GOP run for President?

Why would Trump force either out? He wanted to attack Iran and has JD acting as a Fraud Czar. Where is this coming from?

A Vance resignation would tank the GOP for the foreseeable future.

I would be surprised, but he has been sidelined for some reason.

The Democrats are already favored at the midterms heavily and are favored in 2028 at the moment.

The path that Trump is on is leading towards a fully Democrat controlled federal government in 2028.

Vance is spearheading the new anti-fraud task force. He’s going to be investigating all of the political opponents in the months to come.

If they're asking the slumpbuster to get to work on talking points, something is happening.

I know! I can't think of a more sure sign that other people in the cabinet are leaving because the Sec of State is getting more facetime during multiple front wars and geo-political games.

Just because a divorce attorney from Lake Charles says this doesn't make it so.

Rubio has been a superstar in this Administration so far, and I give him huge props for being a pleasant surprise to me.

Troll much? Rubio is simply a very good reader while Vance gets to confront Newscum regarding California fraud.

Are you denying Rubio is an interventionist?

As the admin has become pawns for the Deep State, political establishment, and globalists, he has gotten a higher profile, because he's part of the political establishment and is a neocon interventionist.

Trump's first term was marred by swampy Cabinet members so he surrounded himself with mostly yes men this go around. He's likely being told Americans support the war in Iran, by and large, and those that don't support it are just leftists that hate everything he does. I don't think he has any idea how unpopular this war is.

To be fair though, VPs have historically been non-entities.

Which, as we have seen with every investigation by this administration so far, will result in absolutely nothing.

It is similar to giving Kamala the immigration czar position.

Optics to keep them away from the public eye.

I think these stories that come out that he was one of the lone dissenters are not meant to drive a wedge between administration members now, they are to try to provide him some distance if this goes bad. I can't ever see him resigning, he will just say he tried to effect that change he could. That will be Tulsi's argument if she stays on -- she will say she did what she could on the inside and then can write a spicy book later. But, if she had any integrity....
