Bummer that there's no Noahkai Banks on there, likely means he's not getting a World Cup spot. Poch doesn't seem like a dude who would call a guy into his final roster sight unseen.

Poch said yesterday in the presser that he has been on FaceTime and phone calls with him a bunch, and that he supports Banks’ current refusal to commit to the call up he received from the USMNT because he is a dual national facing a big decision between the U.S. and Germany.
He was born here in the states, but grew up almost entirely in Germany. I can understand his indecision. Granted, Germany hasn’t offered him a senior team WC prep call up at all to this point either.
I wonder if he joined the U.S. would it burn his one-time switch?
Either way, Poch said that what is important for now is that Banks not only feels but KNOWS that the USMNT and the USSF cares about and supports him.

I don’t think it would. He hasn’t had a senior call up from either and these are friendlies not competitive fixtures. That matters to FIFA.

Makes sense, thanks for the clarification.
Either way, I think the federation is doing what they can to land him in terms of long-term strategy.

The only way he would burn his one-time switch is if he played for Germany since he has played for the USYNT in an official FIFA tournament.
Essentially, he can play in friendlies for the USMNT and still ultimately choose Germany because he wouldn't have to file a one-time switch to do it.
If he plays in a friendly for Germany, he has to play for Germany going forward, because he would have to file a one-time switch to do it.

Will they be wearing the new kits for these games? I saw Chad Johnson wearing one in a recent post and it looks fantastic.

Generic MLS keeper replacing generic MLS keeper on the roster... I mean... Schulte is replacing Celentano on the roster.

Zendejas and Musah are the two biggest healthy scratches, right?

Banks, although he allegedly scratched us for this camp, not the other way around.
Unfortunately, I don't view Musah as a "big" scratch because it's clear Poch doesn't really rate him. Never thought we'd get to this point with him when he first committed to us.
Looking at the roster, if I had to guess this is basically our World Cup except for one less GK, a healthy Dest in for Scally, a healthy Adams in for Cardoso, a healthy Luna in for Morris, a healthy Wright in for Pepi or Agyemang.

I think if Pepi is heathly he's 100% going. But I'm sure the Wright/Pat debate is gonna rage come June.

Not sure he's a lock. Poch has favored Wright over him when both have been in camp. It was very telling last camp that Pepi barely played.

Wright also can play the wing (tucked in but still) which we are very light on
