SIAP. I searched and couldn't find another thread on this.

Bad weather canceled the baseball team's flight out of Nashville Sunday evening so the team was forced to stay over until today.

The Monday flight home was scheduled to arrive in Baton Rouge around 5:30 PM today.

Jay Johnson's weekly radio show tonight has been canceled.

Well it has been 24 hours….just find a damn school bus that is not in use and drive the dudes home! They are only 6 hours away.

Traveling by bus from Nashville would be closer to 10 hours, and that's provided there is no traffic and nothing breaks down.

They should have moved the game up so LSU could have left before the weather got bad

Nashville is way more than 6 hours drive from BR. Unless we’re in an apocalyptic situation where there’s no other vehicle traffic.

The game was televised on ESPN2 so moving the game's start time was not so simple to do.

Well, that is okay too. They are looking at the whole team spending 48 hours in a hotel when they could have been home a day ago.

I traveled for many years due to work and believe me, commercial airlines are not a dependable mode of travel. When they fail, you have to take matters into your own hands and find another way.

More like 8 1/2, and that's assuming no stops along the way.

This is the correct answer, but they’d have a trooper escort and would indeed not likely have traffic.

It doesn’t take 10 hours. I live in Nashville and have done the drive many times. If it takes you 10 hours, you had a lot go wrong along the way. It’s honestly an easy drive. Only city between the two is Birmingham so not a lot of room for many traffic issues

but have you ever done it in a bus that starts acting like there’s 3-4 seas over 70 mph?
