The Glock Store in Nashville is taking preorders. Just got 3. Don’t know what I’ll do with my Shield Arms mags now.

This will probably result in me never carrying any of my other guns.

If youve ever done scenario training with live rounds or airsoft, you find out quickly 15 rounds evaporate before you know it

I hope I never get put in a situation where I run out of cash or ammo!

I hope it’s a metal double stack and doesn’t extend the length any further.

What do you hate most about them? The reliability or the reasonable price?

If it’s metal, it will eat the mag release. They should provide a metal mag release, too.

ETA: or… it be a copy of PSA’s micro mags.

There is a 50 round single stack drum available as well. They actually work well.

Here’s what they’re going to look like according to Reddit.

One of my buddies hit me up about swapping his to metal. What an absolute pain in the arse to get that "spring" out. A few weeks later a 2nd friend asked me about doing it, i laughed and said no. We took a field to the local armorer, so i could see wtf i was doing wrong. He had it out in under 15 seconds of me handing it to him. What i learned was none of buddy's tools were really not the right shape for the task, and he had an array of dentist like objects lol.

The Reddit thread I got the image from was saying that they appear to be Mec-Gar mags so the assumption is Mec-Gar is making them for Glock.

I’ve been there since I picked up a few micro dagger slick mags. 15 rounds and have proven to be 100% reliable…and I’m one of those who normally wouldn’t use a non-oem mag.

My Shield is retired in the safe.

I’ve got some of the 18 round Mec-Gar mags for my Staccato HD P4, and they are very nice. No issues at all with them. If Glock is using them to make these mags, I’d think they will work well.
