On the contrary, he was very bullish on them as were many others.
Seems like the whole team smelled their own farts instead of getting better and gelling together as a team.

that is the part that bothers me with any LSU team. If our baseball team was rebuilding this year following the last 3 years, including 2 nattys, I don't think anyone would be terribly upset. I know I wouldn't be.
But, when statements are made about this being the best talent we've had, and we are going to seriously contend for another Natty this year....then we were being lied to or someone knows little about baseball quality .
Don't tell us crap and expect us to just accept this level of baseball or football or anything. Give us an honest assessment and most of us will just deal with it and support it.

Jay “Eli Manning” Johnson is on his way to his third mediocre team in five seasons. He’s caught lightning in a bottle twice but he’s not a dynasty building coach.
Rant refuses to believe it. Not going to come close to winning an SEC title in five seasons. Not saying we should we replace him but this is who he is

Which was funny because those same people dismissed the fact that we had the worst ERA in the SEC as well

Yes because we care about SEC regular season titles more than national championships.

I’m not one for exaggeration or embellishment but this may be the most goddamn dumb post I’ve ever read here and I’ve been around since August 2005.

Yes, there are so many teams which have this every year. Without players like these, how can you expect any success at all?
Here is an unpopular thought; let the coaches coach, the players compete, and we support them in their efforts, no matter the result.
