He definitely lived up to what we thought we’d get.

The impact Luis Hernandez had on the community and the sport is still very much felt today. It’s natural to feel that void more intensely as time passes, especially when you look at how much things have changed in the local scene since he was active. His legacy definitely isn't going anywhere.

Danny Dickinson too. Those guys were clutch. Hard to fully appreciate them after only seeing them play one season.

I don't know that we miss anybody more than Kade and Eyanson, since they really held that weekend rotation down, but Luis and Dickinson are very much missed.

I think Arrambide will continue to improve, though. Defensively, we are nowhere near we were with Dickinson, Braswell, and Bear...and it isn't going to improve overnight. We just have to keep swinging the bats and let the pitchers carve out their roles.

The way to improve defensively is for enough guys to hit well enough to let ruckert get his sea legs.

True. You also can't defend free passes, either.

it seems like most of the errors are coming from pitchers, catchers, and dardar. besides that ,the infield play hasn't been terrible.the outfield play is good to great besides an occasional mistake by whoever was out there besides brown and curiel . we have Stanfield back now and that pretty much gives us an elite defense in the outfield.
