The right is bitterly divided the way it always has been, between anti-leftists, establishment globalists, evangelicals, libertarians, and nativists. The downside of being a big tent is that the members of that tent, on different issues, want utterly incompatible things.

Trump has managed to be a unifier of the electorate to an extent, but the establishment globalists in power continue to oppose him at every turn. Trump’s actions on Iran and Epstein please the globalists and evangelicals, but piss off the nativists, libertarians, and anti-leftists.

The party establishment would rather coalition with the democrats than support agendas supported by Trump and 80% of republican voters. That should tell you everything you need to know.
