And just like that the Trump presidency is over.

One of the more baffling decisions just from pure political strategy decisions of all time.

If you want to frick with Iran, why not wait another 9 months until after mid terms. Mortgages rates were coming down, gas prices stabilized. Now you have kicked a hornets nest right before election season for no real reason.

Truly shocking

This is going to be trumps legacy one way or the other.

A truly baffling move.

Maybe they care more about Iran gaining a nuclear weapon than midterm elections

Because the Iranians sat down at the negotiating table and said they had enough +60% enriched uranium to make 11 nuclear warheads and had prototypes for ICBMs….it really is not a hard decision to make if you actually care about the country!

Because the Iranian regime is one the ropes with all of the protests, weak currency and a weakened missile force from the 12 day war last year. This was the best chance to get a truly meaningful regime change and one that may not come again. We probably should’ve started this in January but didn’t have the assets in place.

They came to the negotiating table and put a proposal that was more strict than the Obama one. trump could have taken that win and spiked the football and chose not to for some reason.

There is always MEUs embarked on ARGs in the Med/ME and is Asia/Indian oceans. This really isn’t something to be alarmed about.

He enjoys wrestling.

With other men who are also naked and oiled up.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Impossible, Trump said there wouldn't be boots on the ground.

This is what happens when you have small country like Israel that owns politicians either by blackmail or by buying them and they say we are going in and if you want the secrets kept then you are going to help out.

Calm down. Its about 2500 troops. We aren't launching any sort of ground invasion with a force that small. Unit is probably just being sent over there as a contingency so we have a small force ready to deploy on a moment's notice in case of emergency.

There are no assets in place now man. They were totally unprepared for the repercussions. Helium reserves low, oil reserves low. Removed the 4 mine sweepers and decommissioned them.

Even if you think it was the right move, it was poorly planned imo

Not everything is about playing politics, or at least it shouldn’t be. The republican were likely to lose the House in November regardless

bullshite, they rattled their sabers and refused to do anything meaningful. They said they intended to enrich uranium way past anything needed other than for nuclear weapons. These are facts and not debatable!

I’ve always said that if Donald Trump ever committed U.S. troops to a conflict where the United States had not first been attacked, that would be the point where I could no longer support him. I still stand by that principle.

At the same time, I have no intention of voting for Democrats; I believe that party has moved far beyond a place where I could support it. My views and principles haven’t changed, and I’m not willing to abandon them for political convenience.

Hopefully someone rises by 2028.
