Florida teens held in plot to murder classmate, drink his blood

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WFTV) — Two high school girls in central Florida are charged with attempted murder of another student.

Video from the back seat of a police cruiser caught them laughing about their plan.

Isabelle Valdez, 15, and Lois Lippert, 14, were seen laughing and smiling as if they were heading to a party. In reality, they were on their way to jail.

“This is such a bonding experience. I love this,” Lippert laughed.

“I was going to do my makeup this morning for the mug shot, but I couldn’t find anything,” Valdez said.

Prosecutors played the video in court, telling the judge that it proves the girls are a danger to the community.

“Sociopathic attitude that both young ladies exhibited,” a prosecutor said in court.

Investigators said Valdez recruited Lippert to help her kill their classmate because he resembled the Sandy Hook school shooter — someone Valdez was obsessed with.

Prosecutors said the girls planned to slit the victim’s throat in the bathroom at Lake Brantley High School and drink his blood.

“I was, like, I don’t feel guilty for my actions,” Valdez said in the police cruiser.

She added, “I thought I was gonna get sent to the psych ward. That’s why I was so excited about everything.”

Valdez also said the “only person I feel bad for” was her mother, as well as Lippert’s mother.

During the court hearing, Lippert’s parents took the stand, trying to convince the judge they could watch their daughter at home.

However, the judge denied bond for both girls, saying the video from the police cruiser showed it would be too risky to release them.

Both girls pleaded not guilty.

Their parents and attorneys declined to comment.
