Has played both guard spots extensively. Even has 500 snaps at RT and another 162 at LT
Wasn’t too great last year. Only gave up one sack in 700 snaps (31st out of 81 G PFF pass pro) but was near league worst in run blocking and penalties…
48.5 overall PFF grade but carried 57 and 67 overall grades the previous two seasons.

Not a bad backup. Hopefully he doesn’t have to start this upcoming season.

Great veteran depth signing! Hopefully he clean up the penalties and overall better line can improve run blocking

He is exactly the type of Guard you want as a spot starter and primary backup. Now draft a guard with some upside in the draft and we are set.

Caeser Ruiz could also in a pinch
But I would expect us to either sign a vet C/G back-up similar what we've had the last few years in Will Clapp & Shane Lemeiux. And possibly draft one in the 4th

Basically a 1 year, but if he does well enough in reserve he can stick around 1 more.

I would've rathered a guy with more upside like teven Jenkins for the same amount of money.
