Do they still make the field of 64?

They probably should, but they’re really not very good.

Even going 31-0 they were kind of questionable. Now it’s really questionable.

They should make but as a very low seed I guess

I agree, I think they should make it just because 30 wins is an accomplishment, but they look terrible.

Honestly NIL has effected basketball the most because only a handful of teams are able to pay a high amount.

All of your elite players went to much bigger schools.

That is incredibly damning, at this point I think it’s legit 50-50. If they are in I think it will be as a First Four team playing on Tues or Wed in the play-ins.

Had they lost in the championship, I think they’d be safely in. But a first round loss to a 15-15, 7-11 in a weak MAC UMass at 11AM on a Thursday is an awful, awful look. UMass was outside the NET top 200!!! Miami was ranked 53 in the NET going into today, that’s already really low for a bubble team, and will drop more with this loss, haven’t seen updated rankings yet.

They also weren’t even favored to win the MAC tournament going in. Vegas gave Akron better odds. They tried to tell us that Miami wasn’t all that…

If they do make it in they just might be
the worst at large team of all time.

It seems like almost all of the bubble teams have shite themselves down the stretch, so they may luck out and make it.

Yep, a lot of brackets still have Auburn in. Theres probably 35 deserving teams this season. Its pretty rough after that.

they'll get in but I expect them to be heading to the first four and they will get bounced if they play a power conference team

they've been due for some regression, were unusually lucky in close games

This.

It feels Ike they have been playing with fire the last couple weeks. Could have easily lost a couple.

They played a very weak non conference schedule
Also; their coach’s name is Travis Steel. That’s a great porn name

Has a ranked team ever been left out of the tournament in the expanded field era?

I know they probably won't be ranked after the selection show happens but right now they are and they have 31 wins. They're getting an at large and stealing a bubble bid.

They should easily be in, but this is the NCAA we’re talking about.

What's the point of having 64/68 whatever teams if you don't let in a 31-0 regular season team, regardless of conference?

If they don't the system is broken, we're not talking about the CFP here

They should definitely not get in. They are not good and have no chance of winning a game

I vaguely recall maybe St. Mary’s getting left out.

I am not sure. If they use Ken Pom(93), no. They were 54 in the net ranking at 28-0 with no Q1 and 2 Q2 wins. Torvik has them at 54 as well. And winning 31 games may get them in. So who knows?
