If tweet fails to load, click here. Kinda bizarre considering he is often the focus of many episodes anyway.

EXCLUSIVE: Fox has given a two-season order to 'Stewie,' a spinoff of global juggernaut 'Family Guy' centered on the Griffins’ evil genius toddler son.
The new animated comedy, which will follow Stewie in preschool and explore time and space travel, comes from 'Family Guy' creator Seth MacFarlane and 20th Television Animation. It is targeted to premiere on Fox during the 2027-28 season, streaming next day on Hulu and internationally on Disney+

I guess people still watch Family Guy. Roger from American Dad would be a better spinoff to do imo. Either one seems 10 or so years too late.

I had the tv on yesterday and it was the episode where Stewie and Brian get locked in a bank vault...and I actually thought to myself they need their own show. I hope Brian is in it.

American Dad is still great.

wouldn't most of the FG characters be in this show too?

Stewie was never the same when he stopped trying to murder his mother

Turning him from "evil genius" as that synopsis states into the effeminate closeted whimp he became was a terrible decision and made him way less funny.

Rupert must play a pivotal role.

It has higher ratings than American Dad both in the 18-49 demo as well as overall.
Count me in the group that prefer Family Guy over American Dad. It’s actually not even close for me - Family Guy is my favorite animated comedy while I generally dislike American Dad
I don’t have high hopes for this spinoff. Cleveland Show failed for the same reason this will. All of the characters are good in small doses. But the heavy bit elements wear off on the viewer quickly and the depth isn’t there to expand them into being main characters all the time. And all the good bits are already taken by other Family Guy characters

Just absolutely not true. Many of the shows best moments are Stewie and Brian after Stewie has given up on killing Lois

I don’t know what’s the plan here but if Brian isn’t a man character with Stewie then this will fail real quick.
