Wasn’t that known already?
Posted on 3/10/26 at 7:15 pm to Chad504boy

Vast overpay for 2 1sts. Dude has 10.7 sacks per 17 and has started nearly every game (didn't start 6 games he played his rookie year).
Would you trade 2 1sts for Cam's production from last year for over the next 3 to 4 years? You'd be a fricking moron to do that.

Definitely not but the ravens thought it was a good idea somehow. I bet the Raiders are fricking pissed

Yeah I was laughing at how bad the Ravens got fleeced on that, but they must have caught so much flack that he "failed" his physical. Wink nod.

He disrupts the game in more ways than sacks

Not 2 1st rounders worth, plus needing to pay him likely $40+ mil per year.
Hendrickson is available for all that without needing to give up picks. It would be stupid to do that.

This is interesting because they made moves under assumption he is gone. What's that gona do to their cap and the moves they made?

Yeah this is definitely buyer’s remorse. He had a torn meniscus. He could play on that if he really wanted to. He is not going to that in the nfl bc of longevity but he could.

Saw the soft market for Trey Hendrickson and realized they could sign him for less that what Crosby would cost. Used the Medicals as an out

They may have some choices to make, but iirc they were eating most of his hit this year anyway.
But I'm sure at this point you find another trade partner and accept the lesser compensation you will inevitably get. At best you get a 1st and a 2nd now, but people know there's blood in the water so probably even less than that.
Edit:
Actually looks like the Raiders may be the one idiotic franchise that still gives out roughly even base salaries across the contract, so they may be fricked after all. xD
Even worse, they didn't even do a signing bonus it doesn't look like on his last extension, and 2026 and 2027 base salaries are already fully guaranteed. So there is no spread in what the frick he was making.
THIS is truly idiotic cap management and completely opposite of what we do. My god this makes my head hurt.

ESPN said he failed his physical

I do think it makes it awkward for their brand new head coach.
