No one wants our troops to suffer a defeat… that’s silly… at the same time no wants our troops sorting out shite on Israel or anyone else behalf… Trump’s weakness allowed Israel to attack Iran… every other president took a hardline stance when Israel tried to pressure or persuade them into it…

The defeatist attitude he is talking about is just a symptom of TDS. Trump is President and in charge right now. If the country has success then Trump gets credit for that success and these people can’t accept that. They would rather see the U.S. military struggle against Iran and sustain a high death and casualty rate rather than see Trump get any credit for his leadership in the Iran situation.
