We're Hammoned out and BTR really isn't worth the drive compared to the other options on a Saturday night...

Looking for honestly just a great dinner and experience in the area for Wifes birthday..Nice is fine, casual is fine i've tried them all with her..Not looking for dark and romantic, thats not her thing..Not looking for live band playing in your face, not necessarily the theme this go round either..

To be honest, she would probably rather stay at home, grill some steaks and be left alone for some freedom at the end of the night but we have too much going on around the house and id like to get her out for at least a night

Looking for suggestions, TIA

I think Del Porto is where i'll shoot for...

This is an oddball suggestion: Acropolis in Metairie. The food is good, and it might be something different from your usual.

Also, if your wife isn't familiar with it, you might get the raised eyebrow for picking somewhere in a stripmall. It could be a story for the future.

Look on Airbnb, there’s a few places right in the thick of everything. And probably cheaper than the southern

What about that Peruvian restaurant in Madisonville? I think it's called Social. I've heard very good things
