A) - In a lot of states you will not be able to vote for Trump appointments

B) - Donald Trump has not changed his party affiliation to Independent.

Changing your party affiliation goes against the President you still support, not the Republicans you despise

James Woods, I am talking to you.

And what "Trump appointments" do registered Republican voters get to vote on?

There are states where one can vote on POTUS appointments? Does the Senate know?

I first registered as Republican in 1988 as a student at LSU. Re-registered as an Independent in 2006 after GWBs military adventurism. Then Re-registered as a Republican in 2012 so I could vote for Ron Paul in the 2012 Republican primary. Still registered as a Republican now so I can vote in the GOP primaries.

I've been Independent since before Trump and will be after Trump. He still gets my vote.

Both "parties" comprising the uniparty can frick off. I'm done playing that game and have been for a while.

Yeah, I always get mad when I can’t vote for something that’s not subject to a vote. But you do you.

You acting like you actually know anything about Donald Trump.

Donald Trump's party affiliation history:

1987 - Registered as Republican
1999 - changed to Reform Party and Independence Party of NY
2001 - changed to Democrat (mirroring the Bush presidency)
2009 - changed back to Republican
2011 - changed to "no affiliation"
2012 - changed back to Republican

Thanks!! But I keep seeing posts and videos all over the place from people saying how they love Trump BUT switching their party from Republican to Independent, but they still love Trump! It's the worst thing anyone who supports Trump can do.

After the mid-terms - Sure, change your party
