Which of these would you pick as Best Supporting Actor?

If tweet fails to load, click here. Saw someone tweet this and not gonna lie, it's a good question. All I know is I wouldn't pick Pesci, but the other ones you can definitely make a case for.
Curious to see who yall would pick.

Ledger #1. De Niro is second for me. Playing a younger version of Vito Corleone, while also playing him with the same mannerisms as Brando, that’s an amazing acting job.

I would have to go with Heath Ledger. I probably would have Joe Pesci in second place.

I’d have to go with either Ledger or De Niro. A previous poster explained Bob’s achievement. Ledger took a decades old existing character and made it his own, setting a new standard. I can’t think of a lot of similar examples.

I mean, that's REALLY tough...
If I HAD to pick, I guess I'd go with Ledger, but that's probably built more on the fact that he was in the movie I enjoyed the most (and rewatched the most).
All 3 do an amazing job depicting evil characters, though Pesci in Goodfellas and Waltz in Inglourious Basterds were playing actual evil - even if they weren't real world people, you could easily see where they could have said "based on person X" and you'd believe it.

Christoph Waltz gets a lot of praise, and he should. He's outstanding. That said, I feel like his characters from Django and from IB were too similar? Same as Peci with Goodfellas and My Cousin Vinny. The roles for the two actors felt recycled later on. Should it diminish the original role? Probably not.

And by no means is there huge gaps between those performances either. I think Ledger was just so unexpected and to hold the weight of a performance of an iconic character like that is pretty big. Unfortunate that he's no longer with us.

First of all, DeNiro was not a "Supporting Actor" in "The Godfather II". He was the headliner and had the starring role.
I go with Pesci in "Goodfellas" He nailed the role of Tommy playing him as an out of control mobster, much like the real Tommy DeSimone who that was based on.
