Ships are reportedly crossing the strait of Hormuz. They are reportedly turning off their transponders before passing through, and switch them back on afterward.

yep, it's not like they don't have a radar signature just because they turn the transponder off

Everyone knows that. It's a freaking tanker. You can visually see it.

Point being there's something fricky going on.

Tankers not passing through straight is not a real world problem and one that was created to drive the price of oil up, rich get richer.

Iran cannot do crap at this point in the Straight of Hormuz. Lloyd's was being a globalist bitch.

Trump already said the US would insure ships along Hormuz.

The straight being closed is because of globalists

It's doubtful Iran is tracking Tankers via radar and are likely using vessel tracker or some sort of system that rely on the beacon/transponder for the tanker being on.

Ships can turn off the beacon and they become "invisible" to that type of tracking. Russian ships have been doing it, Ven ships were too.

My guess is that Iran isn't using radar so they have to use transponder data. The Tankers have that info and are moving in silence with US navy ships giving data or cover for them.
