US underwriting the risk.

As K said in Men In Black:

quote:

A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow.

Markets being driven by fear rather than supply. That's a wild shift.

Please don't shoot the messenger. But...

Keep in mind - gasoline retailers raise prices immediately because they are trying to price for future replacement costs.

Oversimplification - but pump prices oftentimes reflect not what is in the storage tank this morning - but what the likely cost to replace it two weeks from now will be.

That is why there is not an immediate correlation in prices on the back side.

Guess we can talk about Epstein again since this is no longer the case.

I've noticed about 80% of the gas stations quickly went to $2.99 a gallon. The other 20% was raised to $3.09. Lots of price gouging going on IMO

Well shite. I already signed the contract on a brand new pair of XL Platinum truck nuts, financed at 36 months at 5.4% APR.

Truly an underappreciated quote.

Collectivism and popular culture are blights upon society. When individualism and abstract thought have been jettisoned in favor of colloquialism and preferred narratives, our societal trajectory as a species has trended in a negative direction.

We're not getting $2 national average gasoline short of a recession/COVID demand crash.

But yes...I do believe we will see the national average start trending back down at some point over the next couple months.

You should get together with your fellow Epstein bros and decide daily which outrage you will weep over
