Microsoft Copilot is integrating Anthropic's Claude for M365 users and creating "Cowork"

Pretty big gamechanger for the corporate world and gives Copilot a boost. It was severely lacking compared to other AI tools. Hopefully it's all they're promising it to be.

frick! I need things to hold out until I can hit 55 in a little over 7 years. Then AI can take my job. I feel somewhat safe, because my company is cheap and takes a long time to implement changes. We got SAP only 6 yrs ago and are just now moving to all digital from paper based in production.

You should be fine in that timeframe. There will be a lot of companies that are late on complete AI integration, especially local and regional companies that aren't on the technology forefront.

Don't worry so much. It's been widely reported that most companies are struggling to show ROI on AI spend. A client I worked for bought an entire NVIDIA AI rack to do optional route optimization for maybe 1500 trucks across the US. This could have been done, every day, on the $300 laptop I'm using right now, but they dropped 6 figures on it, because "AI."

I think it's as much due to OpenAI's issues. I don't think they're a viable long-term plan, and the primary long-term support for OpenAI was...MSFT. Kind of circular.

Very happy to see this. Really enjoying Claude desktop, so I'm glad Anthropic is getting another revenue stream after fedgov's stunt.
