Portal class is awful and can’t be fixed this year. Gotta go with what you got and he ain’t got much.

His magic moment was making a number 1 ranked team turn unto unranked garbage.

There’s nothing intimidating about the lineup, that’s for sure

I don’t think he believes this at all.

You're not very bright, nor do you know much about the sport.

Yea, they are all misses outside of Moore..

Larson had his chance to bulk up and try to play 1B and he wasn't taking it. He was never going to break into the OF here. I have no idea why Costello left, can only assume he wanted to be closer to home bc he could've definitely taken 1B this year.

Just 2 weeks ago after JAX, this board was saying there were “no weaknesses in this lineup”.
The truth is somewhere between that and where we are tonight.

Yorke is a huge swing and a miss!

Well when other SEC teams are spending 3.5 million on their roster and Jay only barely had 1 million to work with the last offseason, you might need to give Verge a call and tell him he’s gonna need to do a bit better than that. Whoever it was between Woodward or Verge practically ignoring Jay and baseball and giving him chump change for the roster while upping the basketball NIL money for McFraud should be a criminal offense.

That first AB homer was the worst thing that could have happened to him.

Why couldn't he have played left field this year?
Larson and Costello were two guys he needed to keep.

I’m still confused with all the shitty at bats we get on a daily basis why Yorke is so targeted on here.

because he didn't know Stanfield was going to get hurt. Without Stanfield getting hurt, who's spot is he taking in the OF? Curiel's? Brown's? Stanfield's? This is Larson's money year. he can't risk sitting on the bench. the best he could have hoped for was an injury or someone struggling and him platooning. That wasn't a risk he would have or should have taken when making a decision to stay or leave. We returned our entire outfield from our team. He was the odd man out
Costello I don't know. he was a true freshman last year. He entered the portal when we had no returning first baseman or anyone waiting to take over there. He entered the portal while we were in Omaha and we didn't sign Yorke until 6 weeks later.

Because we had an entire outfield returning from a championship team.

Please enlighten me on who is outspending LSU on their baseball roster. Where is any of this documented?

With the way the bs ncaa baseball calander works I can see how we miss evauluated some of these guys or missed on others. The portal opened up on June 2nd and ran through July 1st. Or last game against Coastal Carolina was June 22nd. Alot of the higher profile guys were taking visits and committed before we even landed in Omaha. Its just something to consider.
