It’s not that easy to get rid of it. It’s protected by the constitution. It would take an act of Congress to dissolve it, so expect expansion instead.

Doubt that. UPS and FedEx dropped Amazon because the deliveries were unprofitable. USPS was happy to take the business, because they care about the volume not profitability.

Am friends with my mail deliverer & she told me 3-4 years ago the P.O. spent $100,000 at all the major offices & some specific ones around the country. On cameras in the employees' parking lots. Employee theft was that bad. She also said that the union basically runs each facility, the "manager" has little power.

It was outright in the News reported that the Biden administration essentially paid them off to put up a mailbox for votes in areas they needed to poach.

Biden gave them so much money it was disgusting.

The USPS is horrid to use. They have no over Night... they have no express. even if you offer to pay the extra money up to 20 or $30 .They tell you right to your face that it still won't get there for three business days possibly 5.

I have that service that shows me my mail the day before it's to come everybody gets it whenever you change your address online. There have been many times that they show me the actual letter in a photo in my email and it never arrives.

There is a current scam going on called whitewashing checks It has to be postal workers that are stealing the checks for somebody to whitewash.

Went to a USPS center this morning. ONE person working the counter at 9am! Line was to the door and some people gave up and left.

Where’s everyone else? Eating donuts?

Simple solution: eliminate Saturday deliveries. Charge First Class for junk mail. Voila!

They need to privatize the USPS. They have had to get bailed out every year. It’s evident that whoever is in charge needs to be fired

Let it go out of business and restructure.

That would invalidate all the union contracts and allow them to pay fair wages.

Given that, outside of weekly grocery store ads, most of my mail is pure junk and ends up in the recycle cart (along with the old store ads once the week passes), I won't miss it.

I sent a USB by USPS last week to PA. The recipient received the envelope with the whole side torn off with nothing inside. They actually delivered it like that.

They keep saying that but things haven't improved. We have a problem where at least once a week mail is not delivered...sometimes it's just refusal to deliver grocery ads that are usually delivered midweek.

Good idea. I hope Trump has that in mind and has a plan...he knows there's a problem there and why it is.

Flashback to just before the 2020 election during covid when the shitbirds were protesting in front of the post office convinced Trump was gonna shut down their voter fraud.

Lol looking back at all that.

Remember being masked up trying to mail something and dodging protesters on the way in.

No one knew why they were there. Now we know.
