WAFB - 94-year-old woman raped in Baton Rouge/Update: Suspect in Custody

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A 94-year old woman was raped in Baton Rouge on Tuesday night, the WAFB I-TEAM learned.
It happened in the 11000 block of East Black Oak Drive near Park Forest and Sherwood Forest.
Detectives in Baton Rouge and the Special Victims Unit are attempting to identify a suspect.
Just when I thought the low was on the floor, theres a basement. What the actual frick would make someone even conjure up a thought of committing a crime like this. I will refrain from further comment on the obvious.
ETA:
According to WAFB sources, he was taken into custody, but no additional details have been released at this time.
ETA 2:
Police identified him as 22-year-old Jeremiah Taylor. According to police, Taylor has prior arrests for first and second-degree rape that were dismissed.

That is someone with animal instincts. Saw someone weak and attacked to get what they wanted. That's is mind blowing that a human can do something like that.

what kind of animal would want to rape a 94 year old woman? That is beyond redemption of any sort. Someone who preys on children and elderly people should be put down on national TV.

There was a time when vermin like this guy would have surely been dealt with swiftly. Perhaps even by the neighborhood men.
The crime rate was barely a blip on the radar screen then compared to today.
Is society better off now- or worse? "Moving forward" isn't always heading to a better place, in certain ways.....This city is proof of that.
